There's an insidious problem invading our inboxes: useless and cowardly e-mails. Think of the last dozen times you received bad news, whether it be someone canceling a get-together or bailing on a meeting or even a professor giving a harsh criticism. There's a strong chance it came via e-mail, or e-mail's ugly step-child, the text message.
