On Nov. 1, The Boston Vegetarian Society hosted the 13th annual Boston Vegetarian Food Festival on World Vegan Day, attracting thousands to the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center on Tremont Street for free samples of food from hundreds of local businesses and exhibitors.

The trip to Simon's Coffee Shop in Cambridge is, according to local regulars, best appreciated if spent relaxing and enjoying the social atmosphere while sipping on the perfectly brewed espresso.
