On Nov. 1, The Boston Vegetarian Society hosted the 13th annual Boston Vegetarian Food Festival on World Vegan Day, attracting thousands to the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center on Tremont Street for free samples of food from hundreds of local businesses and exhibitors.
Russell Cornelia, a senior political communication major, enlisted in the National Guard in 2003, and said it was his patriotism that got him through the door. After only two years with the Guard, Cornelia was promoted from a private to a platoon leader-giving him command of 38 other soldiers.
